It's not entirely clear how that will work, but Lady's new combat mechanics sound incredibly ambitious. Unlike the rest of the cast, her focus will be on firearms and ranged attacks, meaning she'll be a drastic change in playstyle. She's right up the alley of fans of games such as Virtua Fighter 5, with a heavy meta-strategy to her playstyle instead of an extremely long list of moves.Īnd for the first time, the gun-toting Lady will be playable in a Devil May Cry game. Instead, Trish has a greater focus on a core set of abilities and limited moves. Unlike the rest of the cast, she doesn't swap between tons of weapons or focus on major combos. She's not been a playable character since the divisive Devil May Cry 2 though, so this is a surprising return.

He will also be fully upgradeable, and playable on all missions in the campaign. Devil May Cry 4's Vergil will become more deadly the greater style and precision you use thanks to a new "Concentration" mechanic. So expect plenty of teleporting, along with a new emphasis on precise movements. Vergil will combine elements from his Devil May Cry 3 design and some of the ideas behind his most recent incarnation in DmC: Devil May Cry. Now, in addition to the original two protagonists, three new playable characters enter the fray, and two offer drastically new styles of play.
